HARKCON TO ADDRESS ACCOUNTING AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT NEEDS FOR THE COAST GUARD
MCLEAN, Va. – Harkcon is part of a winning team awarded a five-year Multiple Contractor, Multiple Award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide financial management technical support services to the U.S. Coast Guard's Office of Financial Policy and Systems, and the Office of Financial Transformation and Compliance. Task orders issued under this BPA will address accounting, financial management, internal controls, project management and financial management human resources strategy development and implementation. Award of this contract allows Harkcon the opportunity to expand its current support of the Coast Guard and help the service meet its ever-changing workforce management challenges. Harkcon's ongoing work for the Coast Guard includes assistance to the Human Resources Department with its transformation initiative; refining tools and policies for the Officer Corps Management System; development of the Officer Specialty Management System; development of performance interventions for the Coast Guard Sector Logistics Department; and development of Manpower Requirements Determination System policies and processes.
